Tron I need that El Viento case! I only buy genesis games locally and that's the only one I haven't found the case for.

Seeing lots of Genesis/Megadrive love lately which is awesome!
El Viento is pretty cool game. A solid action platformer with a cool setting and character design.
The Megadrive version is expensive but it's really reasonable to pick of the Genesis.  Definitely worth picking up!

todays visit to the tokyo game store was rewarding, but left me totally out of cash now



been looking for complete Xak, Fray and Doraemon forever.  getting Wonderboy, Popful mail and a gem minty Downtown is added (but pricey) bonus.

and btw I'm noticing a clear trend of PCE game title prices in Japan moving UP in my recent visit to the 2 stores b/t Sapporo and Tokyo.  looks like even the local sellers are realizing there is some worldwide PCE/TG collecting movement going on and raising their prices.  I didnt see any huge bargains this time and paid for instant gratification.. except Doraemon was a steal at 890 yen.  almost picked up a Asuka 120% for 600 yen too but forced myself to stay strict.  that was it.    and oh yea, there was a new Graduation 1 for 50 yen.. lol, but shit titles don't count.  hahah

Heh it's case is not going any where.My goal,is to get most of the games again that i had befor cib or loose on the genesis.Though that will depend on price and if it's easier getting it loose then cib.

Yeah, I've noticed prices are getting a bit higher, especially at game shops. Which is why I almost always buy everything online, as it isn't as bad.

I'm noticing even YahooJP are having prices rising, though cheaper, yes.  the con to that is sometimes the conditions are random.. that's the pro of getting it in person I guess.

at this rate perhaps I should hold onto my sealed Bazarru instead of trying to sell it

I've found it's not really any more expensive to get genesis games CIB than it is to get them loose so I usually wait to find a nice complete copy but I couldn't wait for that El Viento any longer! Other Renovation games are sweet too, they had the best releases and packages in the US for Genesis back in the day.
