picked up a handful of goodies yesterday:
Shadow of destiny PS2
Trapt PS2
Gurumin PSP
Street Fighter Alpha 3 DC

and a PSP Go, because god dammit Necro.

that said, Gurumin is hella fun, i would heartily recommend it to anyone who plays PSP games, and likes the Ys series (developed by falcom)

I picked up a few Game Boy games recently:

Super Breakout - I LOVE Alleyway on the Game Boy and hoped this would be more of the same.  There are enough differences that I just can't get into it.

Tetris - Ahhh....  This brings back memories.  I never personally owned a Game Boy, but bitd I had an Express and my 6 yr old little brother had a Game Boy.  I remember playing the hell out of Tetris on my little brother's and other friend's systems.  I've had the NES version for ages and I don't know why it's taken so long to get this version.

Solar Strike - I've had my eye on this for awhile at my local used-stuff store and galam recently mentioned in my Super Game Boy thread, so I finally bit the bullet.  So far I've only been able to make it 2 or 3 levels in, but I really like it.  Simple and challenging, yet still feels fair.

Wish I could post that I've picked up more obey, but I don't see it out in the wild at all where I'm at and I'm not actively seeking anything online right now. :(

Goodwill:

Donkey Kong Country SNES: $1.50
Mario All-Stars SNES: $5.00

Resident Evil: Director's Cut PS1 (Greatest Hits): $4.00
Vagrant Story PS1 (Black Label): $12.00

The DKC is possibly the ugliest/dirtiest cartridge I've ever seen. Both plastic halves shift when you squeeze them together, and it's discolored, and dirty. It works/saves too :)

I have been meaning to pick up Darkwing Duck for a while now. Quite possibly to just listen to the tunes. Yes. Quite possibly.

Hit U and Int'l districts Pink Gorilla locations in Seattle last wknd during a much needed break from Comic Con.  I nabbed a sealed Super Puzzle Fighter II, I Spy (cart only), Super Mario Advance (cart only) and a bnib spare charger for my GBA Micro.  Forgot how good  :D Super Mario 2 is and how frustrating it can be.  ](*,)

Picked up Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii today at Gamestop.  It was the only (used) copy in 100 mile radius from me.  They wanted $60 used, but I used a 25% off promo code for a sale they were doing this weekend, plus my 10% off Pro Member discount - I ended up paying $40 bucks for it!  Granted I had to drive an hour to get to that particular Gamestop, but it was a gorgeous day and totally worth it.  Also picked up Lollipop Chainsaw, Disgaea 4 and KoF VII for PS3.  Man, what a great day!

Went to a few brick and mortar game stores in town yesterday.  As expected the prices were sad, one had Vasteel - $150, another had Neutopia II (loosie) - $90, another had Neutopia - $75.  I saved the one that's typically the worst at pricing for last.

I get there and their prices are still bad, a few things I could use but nothing I really wanted to shell out what they were asking for them.  On my way out the door I look to the right and they have a boxed PC Engine Duo.  It's been there for quite awhile and last time i was there (which was like 4 months ago) they told me they wanted $500 for it. And what do I see sitting on top of it? A US Duo!  This is the kind of store they always eBay things befor they sell you them, but this time there were 2 young girls at the counter.  She rings it up without checking eBay and I get a nice US Duo for $199.99!

All is well. :)

Not too shabby, Roy.  Did you have to hit on the two young girls to creep 'em out, making them want to get rid of you as quickly as possible and not take the time to search ebay for pricing?
