Aha! Thanks for looking that up, Roy. 1987 baby, I knew it was 80's...the buttons on the front are the giveaway...by the late 80's/early 90's, designs were increasingly avoiding drawing attention to buttons.

Let's see...1987...I was rocking:
19" RCA TV (CATV in) <-- VCR (composite video in) <-- NES --> 8-track stereo receiver (it had a "mono" button to send sound to both speakers when a source was mono, such as NES).

Just worked out a deal with Clash for Bonk 3 CD!  :). I know the game catches shit, but I actually like it with the added CD sounds.

also - there's a 14" Sony PVM outside of Chicago for sale for $50 right now on Craigslist if anyone's interested.

http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/ele/3673834813.html

That's only got composite and S-video though, not worth it IMO.

S-Vid on a PVM looks damn near as good as RGB

True, but for that price you can just as easily find one that has RGB or both RGB and component. I got both of my PVMs (one's an older one with RGB, the other is a little newer with dual RGB/component inputs) for about $35 locally.

Anyway, I picked this up yesterday. I spent a little more than I was willing to pay but it's one of the harder to find Atari 8-bit carts and it's a damn good port of the game too: http://tinyurl.com/bpn4hat

I got all of this stuff for free except the Atari which was $5 and Aladdin was $3.  Yes the boxed turbo booster and Metal Slug X were free.

Pikachu 3DS XL: $170
FFXIII-2 PS3: $.26 cents

The 3DS XL got a black line within 12 hours as shown here:

So I had to send it to Nintendo since all the stores locally, within Wisconsin anyway, are sold out as it was a Limited Edition console. Should be back within the next week to week and a half.

FF13-2, I am not really fond of. But I'll trudge through it since I want to see how the storyline continues from the first game.

Also at Goodwill, I picked up these for $1.50 each:

My buddy owns an arcade and collects massive amounts of stuff.  Most were doubles.  He has a brand new boxed duo and a f*ck ton of neo geo stuff.  I also picked up Bio Shock infinite.  Liking it so far.

Haha, yeah  :P I got both psp 3000's 3 mem sticks(2 8 gig, and 1 16 gig) 2 extra batteries, and all 6 games for 60 bucks. One of the psp's works flawlessly, but the other one has a busted memory card slot which makes it pretty much useless  Still a great deal, and I figgure I can find someone to replace the slot sometime.
