I bought a Digimon game........& I thought it was the english one, but now I'm starting to doubt it. After doing more research, it looks like there may have been a japanese version & english version. I guess I'll find out when it arrives.
I'm sure there are two versions. Otherwise, what are Japanese kids supposed to play?
On eBay the other day there was a system with two packed in Digimon games. All the text was Korean. Maybe that was the English version? Or maybe there is a Korean version too.
BTW, someone I think mentioned I should get an ac adapter.....but I'm looking at my Crystal.......where the heck would I plug it in? Is it maybe some kind of proprietary thing that plugs in where the battery goes??
I don't have one, but I'm assuming it either goes in to the headphone/link port in some way, or it comes with a piece that replaces the battery cover/shell thing. Personally, I don't consider it to be that important. Battery life on these systems is incredible. Even with low-end standard AA rechargeables you're probably going to get 10+ hours out of the thing. With brand new Duracells, probably almost 20. Out of one AA.
I miss systems like this, the NGP, and the GBC. Ok, maybe not the GBC, but the WS and the NGP were great. The games were easy to to get into, the systems were $50-100, and battery life was amazing. A NGP will get you over 50 hours off two AAs. Compare that to a PSP, if you don't recharge it before you go to work it won't make it through the day. And the 3DS...pathetic.
