Either way, I'm kinda surprised Saturn Anearth is that cheap.

These days 2500 yen for all but a handful of Saturn games is actually a lot. The vast majority of the library is 50-500 yen.

But it's supposed to be the most expensive library to buy games from after Neo Geo and followed by PC Engine..

The Saturn has a lot of rare/valuable/OMGEBAY titles, but the bulk of the JPN library is dirt cheap. I'd say the PC Engine is, on the whole, pricier than the Saturn.

You like pastries, huh? :P

Actually, SamIAm has already tentatively put Manji Maru on his future projects list, so we might get it someday!

I'm working on it again. I'll let y'all know when I hit a major milestone.

Xanadu II is still in the works, by the way.

Keep fighting the good fight, Sam. We're all looking forward to playing these games in English, thanks to you. :D

Thanks, guys. Encouragement helps. :)

You know what would also be really great? If one of you - maybe someone who's already played the game before and isn't worried about spoiling the experience - could play AFS in Mednafen (gotta be Mednafen) and get Esperknight and myself a bunch of savestates. As it stands, it's looking like the best way to locate all the text is to use savestate hacking. Right now, we don't have very much text dumped because we just haven't gotten that far into the game. I've beaten it once, but it was on a real system.

A savestate outside of every town before something new happens there, and maybe deep in dungeons before events, would do the job nicely. Saving me the time playing means I can spend it translating. Any takers? I think it's a 20 hour game or so. Probably 30 if you go slow and it's your first time, but definitely less if you use the fast-forward button in Mednafen smartly during the battles. :)

I would love to take you up on that offer, but I haven't played the game all the way through yet. If someone else doesn't step up, I might be able to help out after I get through these weekend inventory adventures at work...
