Well, last night after downin some coke (The pop NOT the powder! >_<), I cranked out some stuff.
Wall collisions, Leaving room detection, lazer hitting walls......
also, I polished up the lazer collision so that you can do the happy strategic sniping past walls and using them for cover >_<
The lazer has pixel perfect accuracy! They ride along walls !
wooo.
Next up: diagonal shooting
Also: I figured Ill ask everyone: Death animations........
Should I do:
Palette swapping so he blinks and flashes
make him shrink down and bloop away kinda like pacman
...Something else?
I was also thinking of maybe painting new graphics for death that make him look like a skeleton while hes being electrocuted....
