oh god, i've seen some bad paint jobs before, but oh my god.
there is probably a way to save that, but idk if it's really worth it, y'know?
maybe just have someone competent do another custom paint job.

I bet the guy that painted that system used to work as the designer for the art on TG16 boxes.

In other words, he is awesome.

Did he do that with magic markers?

OH GOD! I do not like the "custom paint job"--and I usually don't mind silly stuff.

Ha!  Every time I see that listing I wonder how many hours it'll take someone to sand that shit off and paint it black again.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

I figure you'd actually just make up a vat of acetone, and soak it for a few days. To be honest, I don't know how acetone or other paint thinners affect plastic. But I'm sure with some research, you could take off the paint via a chemical method, instead of a brute force method.

Or you could put it in a house of horrors for Halloween. Scariest thing ever for a turbo fan.
Hey, you.

My favourite part of that is the disclaimer:

(Air Zonk is not a sticker)

Which could be taken 2 ways:

(Air Zonk is not a sticker - yes, I am that good)

or

(Air Zonk is not a sticker - no, you will not be able to just peel it off and be done with it)

You could probably have someone sand blast it.  That'd be the easiest method.

If you went that route, use crushed walnut shell.

acetone will eat the ABS too, I tried this once in the lab.  Why remove it?  just use it as primer and spray it black again.  Although I'd still e haunted knowing it's under there.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!
