Yes I feel very fortunate that I was able to buy this from a game store that had two of these things sitting around and to NightWolve yes it's modded, looks amazing on my CRT. But there are a few glitches that occur when playing games and not sure what causes it. I will have to look into at some point.

I bought Prince of Persia and Shadow of the Beast years ago and played them on my PC so now I can play them properly. But, what I really would like is Dracula X (sorry don't know the proper name for it). The same game store has it, but asking almost $200 for it.

New games for July-August:

Initial impressions:

Mysterious Song - Wow, what a great game to start into the TG homebrew scene.  The writing is witty, the music is great and it's a fun 16-bit RPG!  I have been playing this one concurrently with Ys: I & II.

Chew-Man-Fu - a cute, well made puzzler, I have gotten ten levels in and I like what I've seen so far.  The graphics are large, well animated, detailed and colorful.

Psychosis - I like the wacky shooter Naxat made here.  I have heard (through Turbo Views) that the game is a little short, but it is punishing me harder than Deep Blue.  It is surreal, but I think that was the point.

Pac-Land - It is often referenced by game developers as the key early platformer, pre-Mario.  I thought I would hate it, but I do not now that I have gotten the chance to play it.  It deserves more respect than it has gotten.

JJ & Jeff - What..what what...did Sega rip off Sonic's jump sound fx from this game???  It certainly seems like it.  It's an enjoyable romp that reminds me of the first Wonderboy/Adventure Island.  There is enough of the unedited original here to see what the devs were going for.  An essential TG16 purchase!
THANKS TO ALL PCEfx members who have helped fix my hardware and add to my games library!  What a thrill!

I've not yet taken the plunge to purchase any of the homebrew stuff... I am planning on doing so, but I've spent quite a bit this week.

I picked up an Everdrive, CIB Bomberman and World Class Baseball, and Complete Space Harrier- King of Casino - Jack Nicklaus Golf.

My Gate of Thunder finally arrived. Pretty sure it was delivered on the back of the world's slowest snail. Oh well, it's here.
