That's cool, but you should totally understand that by removing them in the first place you've made the labels pretty much worthless.

Exactly.  Even if they are worth something to some poor misguided soul somewhere, they sure as shit don't qualify for a 'good condition' description.

I don't care if those were recapped by God himself, 2 units with region switch, adapters, and couple games is not worth $1,000.

Not really that bad of an auction, but this poor duo had somebody rip its cd door off and replace it with cardboard. :)

Should have saved the door, the magnet right inside the door would have helped play CD better than a tape on that spindle.  Tape will only add some gunk and sticky dust that over time can seize up spindle and burn the motor.

I dindt think about the magnet.  Hopefully someone that has a dead PCE duo can pick it up for cheap and swap the cd door to get it back to health again.  If it broke on the cd door side it would be an easy swap.

Or swap the motherboard and/or CD drive. It's probably easier than removing and reinstalling the door.

The $100 asking price makes that a terrible listing.

Well it is a one of a kind cardboard door duo
"This is an item I did not want to sell because of how RARE it is."

I think it does have the magnet sitting on top of the cd from looking at it again.  it actually wouldn't work otherwise.

Im just thinking someone could possibly get it cheap and fix up the case with bad pce duo and have a cheap turbo duo.  just not sure where the door is broken off.  maybe ill send a message to the seller. if the part on the console where the door screws in broke off then its defiantly not worth it.

Beyond terrible. 100 pesos maybe. $100 no. Better off donating it to Keith Courage as his plaything :)

I would make a good working unit out of that. I have parts of DUO cases lying around.
